Window to the Wild-2 days
Our Window to the Wild – tour is the best way to learn a lot about Siberian Huskys and dog sledding and experience the variety and beauty of nature in Swedish Lapland. You will experience wilderness on a sled behind your own team of well-trained and clever sled dogs, our loved Siberian Huskys and guided by own of our motivated dog sledding guides.
Be part of a unique way of living and open a window to pick up the scent of wilderness in beautiful Sweden!
We will start from the kennels at 11:00 in the morning with some important instructions about the sleds and our Siberian Huskys. We will drive approx. 25 km before preparing lunch over an open fire and enjoy the meal and coffee break in a spectacular environment. After the refreshing break we will continue our tour through forests and over frozen lakes and your team will take you back to the kennels (arrival about 15:00).
Later in the evening we will have dinner in our little Samíhut or in the guesthouse, talking about the adventures of the day laying behind us.
After breakfast (about 08:30) we will go down to the kennels again getting ready for another day out in the Swedish wilderness. Today we'll be mushing 30 to 40 km and we might get the chance to see some reindeers, foxes or a Swedish moose by the trail.
After a couple of hours out on the trail we stop for lunch and coffee and enjoy the view. After lunch we continue our journey over extensive wetlands or through deep forests.
Back by the kennel approx. 15.00.
